Principal's Desk
It is a pleasure to present the following achievements of “Christu Jyoti Institute of Technology & Sciences “during the present academic year 2007-08.The Institute believes in the integrated development of students and it is proceeding fast in that direction.

Techno Zeal:
We have conducted Techno zeal a national level Technical student paper presentation contest on 7th & 8th March – 08. 192 students have participated from various colleges from different states. B.C. Jinaga, Rector of JNTU inaugurated the Techno Zeal -2008 and delivered the inaugural address. Msgr. Fr. D. Raja, Dy. Manager, Warangal Diocesan Educational Society was Guest of Honor and released the proceedings. Sri Shujayat Khan Director, CITD, Hyderabad delivered the valedictory address. Rev. Fr. Stan D Paul, Principal, Loyola College, Secunderabad attended as Guest of Honor.
Placements:
About 170 students have secured placements through campus training and placements cell of CJITS in around 4 MNC’s like Google, TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, Wipro, Microsoft, Convergys, Honeywell, etc.
JKC Centre:
A well equipped JKC Centre was established in the college to provide job-oriented software training to the students on Soft skills, reasoning, aptitude, Communication, etc. This was inaugurated by Most Rev. Thuma Bala, D.D, Bishop of Warangal on 3rd Nov-07. It has achieved JKC star status from Institute for Electronics Governance (IEG), Govt. of A.P. The JKC has a capacity of 50 systems connected with high speed Internet. The TPC also focuses it’s attention on securing original software from companies like Oracle, Microsoft, etc. An MoU was signed with a few companies in this regard.
Sports & Games:
Our students are actively participating in various games sports. We have the play grounds and facilities for Foot Ball, Basket Ball, Table Tennis and Throw Ball for girls.
Achievements:
Achieved 2nd Prize (Runner Up) I Volley Ball Inter collegiate tournaments of JNTU Zone-C held at SSIT, Sathupally, Khammam Dist.
Participated in Volley Ball interzonal tournament held at JNTU, Hyderabad.
Two students from our college represented in Foot Ball inter-University tournaments of South Zone held at Annamalai University, Chidambaram.
Seats Increase:
The Government has sanctioned an additional 30 seats in ECE branch raising the strength to 90.
I congratulate the faculty who are ever ready to reach out, help and guide the students along the road to success. I wish all the students a systematic nurturing of their education making their learning years purposeful, enjoyable and memorable.
